Nike Unveils Lineup for Mamba Week 2020
Kobe Bryant was an inspiration to people around the world, both for his work on and off the court.
To honor Kobe's lasting legacy, Nike announced its plans for Mamba Week 2020. Starting on August 23, Mamba Week will include a $1 million donation to the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation, new retail product releases, and the continued support of the Mamba League.

Commemorating the 10th anniversary of Kobe's fifth championship, Mamba Week 2020 kicks off with the release of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro "Big Stage."
This iteration features a white, metallic gold, and black colorway reminiscent of the Big Stage colorway from the 2010 NBA Finals. The shoe also features the mosaic previously seen on the Kobe 5 "Parade."

Following the release of the "Big Stage" colorway, Nike is dropping the Kobe 5 Protro "5x Champ" on Mamba Day (August 24).
This colorway is designed after the championship-themed jackets given to Kobe after his second and third rings. The shoes feature a purple and black color scheme with gold accents, white midsoles, purple laces, and icy blue outsoles.

The Black Mamba Lakers City Edition jerseys were originally released in 2017, and are being brought back for Mamba Day 2020.
These black and gold jerseys feature both of Kobe's retired numbers -- eight on the front and 24 on the back. Other details include faux-snakeskin print, a scoop neck, and 16 stars laid out on the side panels.

Inspired by the 12 teams that passed on Kobe in the 1996 NBA draft, Nike is dropping the Kobe 5 Protro x Undefeated "What If" pack.
The first colorway (pictured on the left) features a combination of colors from the 12 teams that passed. The other colorway (pictured on the right) features Hornets colors as they are the franchise that made the trade that sent Kobe to the Lakers.

To wrap up Mamba Week 2020, Nike will be releasing the Kobe 5 Protro "Girls EYBL."
The shoe features inspiration from the mythical Medusa, who could freeze people with a single glance in their direction. The colorway features a green upper, scaled details, and gold accents.
