How to Find the Right Laces for Your Sneakers

There's nothing wrong with rocking a pair of stock laces, but if you want to customize your sneakers to make them stand out, finding the right lace swap is the key.

To show you how big of a difference such a small change can make, we put together this short list of clean lace swaps.

Hopefully, these swaps will give you some good ideas on how to upgrade your own kicks. Check them out below.

Off-White Jordan 1

A new pair of laces is the perfect way to top off a fresh pair of customs.

These custom Off-White x Air Jordan "RAGING BULL" 1s, created by @chefhuyle, feature an all-red and white colorway, Off-White branding, and are tied together with a pair of white Off-White style laces.

If you want to grab a pair for your 1s, we suggest getting the size 63" laces.

Banned Jordan 1s

The "banned" Jordan 1s don't leave much room for improvement -- the Varisty Red and black colorway is an all-time classic. Still, the right laces can always take things to another level.

If you don't want to change up the colorway, try swapping out the stock laces on your 1s with a pair of luxury leather laces, like @zamotluis did here.

Blue Ultra Boost

Some of the best lace swaps are the most simple.

Instead of swapping out the stock laces on these Ultra Boosts for a pair of contrasting laces, we opted for a pair of navy blue rope laces to complete the colorway.

We recommend size 41" laces for Ultra Boosts.

Red Yeezys

Small accents can change the look of a shoe completely.

These all-red 350s, customized by @giuseppe_customs, feature a pair of red rope laces to complete the monochrome color scheme and are topped off with a pair of gold aglets.

Grab a pair of gold Yeezy-style aglets for yourself to customize your 350s.

Jordan 11 Low Closing Ceremony

Lastly, if you want to swap out your laces for something that sticks out a little bit more, a pair of multicolor laces might be the answer you're looking for.

@isaiahkaden10 swapped out the stock laces on his Jordan 11 Low "Closing Ceremony's" for a pair of white and metallic gold rope laces to give them a more premium look.
